Northwest Middle School is an IPS neighborhood middle school serving grades 7-8 on the West Side of Indianapolis. The mission of Northwest Middle School is to prepare students to be life-long learners who are knowledgeable, productive, well-rounded citizens in an interdependent global society. Students will participate in a curriculum designed to introduce them to the necessary skills needed to prepare them for high school. Learning activities will be engaging, student centered and relevant to the requirements of the community and society for which they will become citizens. Students will also participate in self-discovery exercises to become more responsible for their own learning.
