Teacher Groups

We know teachers need spaces to connect and share with educators who think and have shared experiences. This space is meant for groups of educators who share a common interest to gather and share resources, experiences, upcoming group events, and support while navigate teaching and learning from unique lenses.

In this space you will find groups anyone can join based on content area, grade-levels, teacher tenure, etc.  This is also an important space to find a ‘closed’ group or affinity spaces for educators. Our affinity groups, in their early stages, are based on race, ethnicity, LGBTQIA+ and more. Moderated by teachers, for teachers, this is a great opportunity to find community beyond the four walls of your classroom.

Ongoing Learning Opportunities

Interested in certifications, fellowships, high-quality ongoing learning opportunities, this is your one stop shop. As Teach Indy is made aware of opportunities, we will add them to this space along with deadlines to apply, etc.

This will not be your typically professionals development sessions that may only be for one day/session but instead we will feature high-quality vetted opportunities that tend to be ongoing and have actionable follow up.

Message Boards

Our message boards feature collaborative conversations for educators to share ideas, best practices, request support for professional and whole-person resources, and a chance to share relevant information. This space is intended to be an ongoing dialogue between teachers and will be moderated by fellow educators. While some of the conversations have started in the space, you will have opportunities to bring up new topics and get peers thinking in real time!

Grants, Funding and Award Opportunities

Looking for funding options for your classroom, support for your own ongoing learning, or paid opportunities working with students? This is a great resource page for grants and funding opportunities shared with Teach Indy.
