The Student Recruiter at Invent Learning Hub will primarily be responsible for all marketing, strategic communication, and recruitment of students.
Seek out potential students in grades K-8 throughout the Southeast side of Indianapolis through door-to-door team recruitment, tables at local
businesses, connecting with community events, and working with other local schools and preschools at a pace that will ensure set enrollment targets are met. Seek out high quality teacher applicants through online recruiter sites, IDOE job bank, recruitment partners such as ITF and TFA, and relationships with local universities. recruitment opportunities.
Calendar out recruitment plans, plan recruitment events, and engage key staff members to participate in recruitment efforts. Plan marketing
campaigns via social media, newsletter, and news media to promote the school’s recruitment efforts.
Research community events, local school and preschool programs,
opportunities to recruit students and staff and also market the school programs.
Be able to deliver a pitch about all school programming to prospective families, universities, and potential teacher candidates.
Utilize strong writing skills to effectively communicate about school
programming and draw in current audiences and grow the school following. Develop creative marketing strategies that will ensure the school meets recruitment and hiring targets.
Manage communication with Indianapolis lottery partner, Enroll Indy. Lead school tours and train other staff on effective delivery of school tours. Help
facilitate connecting families to office staff for paperwork enrollment.
Complete follow-up calls to potential families looking to enroll.
Build positive relationships with current families, staff, and community members. Foster relationships with potential families.
Be able to use all social media platforms, canva, live streaming, excel, newsletter software, and other identified technology resources to market the brand and communicate with current and prospective families.
Be able to pitch the school program to prospective families in a way that gets them excited and engaged in the enrollment process. Be able to build momentum with current families so that they help communicate and draw in other families.
Be able to listen for family needs to appropriately highlight parts of the school program and advise families regarding their options for their child’s education.
Attend weekly meetings with school leadership, recruitment teams, and share out information with staff to ensure strategic marketing and
recruitment strategies are a success and all staff are fully engaged.
Collect data from door-to-door recruitment, events, and parent tours to provide consistent follow-up to potential enrollments to ensure multiple touchpoints with prospective families.

In house student supervision if the school is short staffed.
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Marketing, Social Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
Prefer at least two (2) years of experience in recruitment, admissions and enrollment
Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment and enrollment processes.
Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Experience working with a diverse student population.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with multiple constituencies.
Ability to travel 10-20% of the time.
Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
Prefer Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
