VISION FOR POSITION

The Operations Assistant (OA) directly supports the Dean of Operations at BELIEVE Circle City High School Indianapolis and is responsible for executing non-instructional school functions so that the instructional team can maintain a concentrated focus on teaching and student achievement and can maximize instructional time. The Operations Assistant ensures that BCCHS is achieving operational excellence by refining and implementing policies and systems while upholding the values of BCCHS. The OA works to create a culture of service, support, respect and achievement. The OA is committed to our common goals, mutual respect, empathy towards others, and an appreciation of diversity. The OA is a critical thinker and innovative problem solver with a high level of emotional intelligence.

The actions of the OA must always be aligned with our mission and core beliefs. The essential functions for OA are as follows:

SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to identify, implement core BCCHS systems and procedures with fidelity.
  • Support specific operating requirements and ensure that BCCHS has systems to ensure compliance.
  • Support with financial operations and bookkeeping.
  • Create systems and processes to manage contracts and vendors; serve as point of contact for all vendor relationships.
  • Support and lead facilities projects.
  • Other daily operation functions as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • BS with a focus in operations, business, or other relevant field.
  • Business management or operations experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience managing multiple critical deadlines and adapting quickly and confidently in a fast-paced environment
