Thank you for your interest in attending our virtual interview day(s). On Friday, March 4, 2022 and Friday April 8, 2022, school leaders and talent teams from across center township schools will be looking for great educators to fill their teams for the 2022-2023 school year.

What to Expect, Pre-Virtual Event:

  • ALL candidates have received information to view open jobs on the Teach Indy website.
    • Be sure to UPDATE your jobs posts prior to the conference by following the directions using the link provided OR by emailing your open jobs to maddie@teachindynow.org before March 1, 2022.

 

What to Expect During the Virtual Hiring Event- School Leaders:

  • More Information coming soon!
  • Candidates will not have a set ‘schedule’ for interviews and have been told to research schools in advance, monitor open rooms, and enter as soon as they are able.
  • Each school interviewing candidates will have their own interview room and will be able to interview candidates in a private room using a unique URL that you will send to the candidate.

 

Best Practices for Virtual Hiring Events:

  • Plan to have at least 2 staff members from your school join you.
    • Person 1: Manages your school/network table and moves candidates as interviews conclude
    • Person 2 (or more): Interviews candidates in a private room
  • Plan to spend 8-12min with each candidate aligned your first step/’phone screen’ stage of hiring
  • Request that candidates drop a link to their resume directly into the chat for you to keep
