Teachers bring critical perspectives to education issues. To help elevate the teaching profession, Teach Indy works alongside teachers to amplify their voices in the K-12 discussion and further the perception of teachers as thought leaders and experts in their field.
Through our Educator Advisory Committee, we select a group of Marion County teachers representing a diverse array of schools, backgrounds, and experiences to provide us insights and guidance as an organization. Committee members meet at least monthly to give input on key decisions related to Teach Indy’s work. Committee members are asked to make a two year commitment to the committee and receive a stipend for their participation.
