Join Teach Indy and our community partners for our inaugural Teach Indy Educator Conference

Registration is now open for inaugural Teach Indy Educators Conference

Registration is now open for the 2021 Teach Indy Educators Conference, presented by The Mind Trust. The free, virtual conference will run from April 9 through 11 and features a hiring fair, professional development sessions, and a community day.

The three-day experience will begin on Friday, April 9 with development sessions geared towards preparing for virtual interviewing including virtual interview skills, personal storytelling, and resume review. After a lunch break, attendees can network with school leaders and hiring managers from across Teach Indy’s schools to learn more about open job opportunities.

Saturday, April 10 will be focused on professional development, with local educator-led sessions on cultural competence, social emotional support, content-specific topics, and best practices in online learning. Educators interested in leading a session, panel discussion, or round table may submit their proposal using this form by March 12.

The final day of the conference, Sunday, April 11, will feature a Community Day, where community leaders and education champions will share their gratitude for our city’s amazing educators through awards and other recognitions. Nominations for educator awards will open later this month.

Registration is open to any educator in an Indianapolis school or district, or to any educator who may be interested in learning more about working in Indianapolis schools. Visit TeachIndyNow.org for more information and to register for free.
