College Football Championship Week in Indianapolis
Hello Teach Indy!We hope you had a wonderful winter break! We missed you. We have been waiting a whole year for this week to arrive… it’s finally College Football Championship week in Indianapolis! Yes, there’s a football game. But there is so much more too! This weekend is really about thanking teachers. Find out more below about all of the awesome, free family events taking place this week. January 8: Extra Yard for Teachers Summit – Powered by Get Your Teach On, the summit is CFP Foundation’s annual flagship event designed to empower and inspire educators with guest speakers, giveaways, networking opportunities, and professional development.
January 8-10: Playoff Fan Central – This three-day family event is held at the Indiana Convention Center. Come enjoy games, clinics, pep rallies, band performances, autographs, and more.
January 8-9: AT&T Playoff Playlist LIVE! – Saturday and Sunday will feature free live music in Monument Circle. On January 8, 5-11 pm, experience Doja Cat and AJR. Then on January 9 from 5-11 pm come see Twenty-One Pilots and Ava Max.
January 9: Extra Yard 5k – The official road race of the College Football Playoff. This family-friendly, 3.1-mile run/walk starts and ends at the Indiana Convention Center. Registration is just $10 for teachers.
January 10: Allstate Championship Tailgate – On the game day from 12-5 pm, join us back in Monument Circle for extreme tailgating that includes musical performances from Sam Hunt and Breland.
