College Football Championship Week in Indianapolis

Hello Teach Indy!We hope you had a wonderful winter break! We missed you. We have been waiting a whole year for this week to arrive… it’s finally College Football Championship week in Indianapolis! Yes, there’s a football game. But there is so much more too! This weekend is really about thanking teachers. January 8: Extra Yard for Teachers Summit – Powered by Get Your Teach On, the summit is CFP Foundation’s annual flagship event designed to empower and inspire educators with guest speakers, giveaways, networking opportunities, and professional development.

January 8-10: Playoff Fan Central – This three-day family event is held at the Indiana Convention Center. Come enjoy games, clinics, pep rallies, band performances, autographs, and more.

January 8-9: AT&T Playoff Playlist LIVE! – Saturday and Sunday will feature free live music in Monument Circle. On January 8, 5-11 pm, experience Doja Cat and AJR. Then on January 9 from 5-11 pm come see Twenty-One Pilots and Ava Max. 

January 9: Extra Yard 5k – The official road race of the College Football Playoff. This family-friendly, 3.1-mile run/walk starts and ends at the Indiana Convention Center. Registration is just $10 for teachers.

January 10: Allstate Championship Tailgate – On the game day from 12-5 pm, join us back in Monument Circle for extreme tailgating that includes musical performances from Sam Hunt and Breland.
