Teach Indy is a nonprofit 501c3 with a vision to recruit, develop, reward and retain more outstanding educators for Indianapolis. We’re looking for teachers who want to make an impact in the lives of children, empowering them to achieve greatness both inside and outside the classroom.
Teach Indy seeks to elevate the work and lives of Indianapolis teachers by holding networking events, connecting teachers with their best-fit schools, and fostering teacher appreciation throughout the city, often in partnership with other local organizations.

Our Community Partners
College Football Playoff Foundation (CFP) Awards $200,000 to Teach Indy for Teacher Recruitment and Retention Initiatives
The CFP National Championship will take place in Indianapolis in January 2022. In the years leading up to the national championship game, the CFP Foundation’s primary platform, Extra Yard for Teacher, works with the host city and education partners within that city to identify what areas of focus are most needed. Funding from the CFP Foundation will support Teach Indy in driving the recruitment, development, recognition and retention of high-quality teachers for Indianapolis schools.
Teacher’s Treasures Mobile Outreach: Victory College Prep
Assistant Principal Austin Inge along with the full staff of Victory College Prep, received an onsite Mobile Outreach shopping day courtesy of Teachers Treasures. Austin was the winner of the Teach Indy, Donut Dash Super Sprinkle Experience. Congrats VCP!
RISE INDY Teacher Coalition
Our friends at RISE INDY are working hard to ensure educators voices are amplified and educators learn how to advocate for key issues facing Indianapolis schools. Their new Teacher Coalition work is supporting with educator advocacy and opportunities for families and students.
TeachPlus Indiana Launches new Indianapolis Equity Change Agent program!
Educators of color from across the 11 school districts in Marion County will have the opportunity to come together to plan and implement school-based change projects to increase student achievement and positively impact building culture.
